FAQ - Cancellations

Our rescheduling assistant is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST, via email at team@shineohio.com. If you reach out outside of those hours, we’ll get back to you the next business day.

Please note: we do not manage cancellations through social media, phone calls/messages or text.

Each event’s product page lists the most accurate and up-to-date cancellation policy. While most follow our general policy, a few have unique details. See below for our general policy.

No, training and certification fees are non-refundable. However, you can transfer your registration to a future date if you notify us at least 5 days in advance and if the minimum class size is met. Processing fee applies.

We offer a one-time courtesy of waiving the 5-day advance notice for our trainings. You’ll still be responsible for a small processing fee.

When you register, we begin preparing for you — this includes materials, planning, communication, and reserving your spot. The processing fee helps cover the administrative costs and coordination involved in making schedule changes.
Also, many of our trainings are fully booked and have active waitlists. When someone cancels last-minute — the night before or morning of — we’re often unable to fill that spot in time, which means a missed opportunity for someone else and a financial loss for our team. We do our best to be flexible and fair, and truly appreciate your understanding and advance communication whenever possible.

If you decide not to attend your training for any reason and do not notify us before the class begins, your registration fee will be forfeited. Many of our trainings have waitlists, so advance notice is both required and appreciated. Thank you for understanding!

Class fees are non-refundable. However, you can transfer your spot to another date or person if you contact us at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled event.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, we’re unfortunately not able to offer credits or transfers due to the limited number spaces available. That said, if you let us know outside of the 48-hour window, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we’re successful, we’ll be happy to reschedule you.
