Foundations + Practitioner Reflexology Certification
Level One & Level Two Duo Bundle
Save $200 when you register for both levels together
Teacher: Brittany Smith
Total Training Time: 17 Hours (Two full-day trainings, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM each)
From Foundations to Full Practice
A full-body reset starts from the soles—mastered through intentional, skilled application.
The Reflexology Certification Duo Bundle is the complete pathway for those who feel called to offer reflexology with confidence, integrity, and depth. This bundled experience includes Foundations of Reflexology (Level One) and Reflexology Practitioner Certification (Level Two)—the two required levels to become a Reflexology Practitioner at Shine.
By registering for both levels at the same time, you not only commit to a complete learning journey, but you also save $200 compared to registering separately.
Level One introduces you to the language of reflexology.
Level Two teaches you how to speak it fluently.
Together, these certifications prepare you to move from introductory techniques to holding full, intentional reflexology sessions that support relaxation, balance, and the body’s natural healing response.
Who This Is For
Designed for anyone called to holistic healing, including:
Reiki practitioners
Yoga teachers
Sound healers
Massage therapists
Energy workers
Wellness professionals
Curious beginners ready to go deeper
No prerequisites are required to begin Level One. Completion of both Level One and Level Two is required to offer reflexology as a standalone service and refer to yourself as a Reflexology Practitioner.
Please note: You will be practicing with partners and working directly with feet (and hands in Level Two).
What You’ll Learn Across Both Levels
Foundations of Reflexology (Level One)
This introductory certification provides the essential groundwork for reflexology practice.
You’ll explore:
History and foundations of reflexology
Anatomy of the feet
Reflex point mapping
Thumb-walking and pressure techniques
Structuring a basic foot sequence
Safety, hygiene, and contraindications
Energy flow and mindful touch
Effective client communication
After Level One, students can offer a basic reflexology sequence for relaxation and wellness (feet only) and integrate reflexology into existing modalities such as Reiki, yoga, massage, or sound healing.
Level One alone does not qualify students to practice reflexology as a standalone service.
Reflexology Practitioner Certification (Level Two)
Level Two is where foundations become full practice.
This advanced training builds upon foot reflexology and expands into:
Organ systems and their corresponding reflex points
Resting points and nervous system regulation
Full professional foot sequence (entire foot)
Hand reflexology techniques and sequences
Session pacing, flow, and practitioner ergonomics
Holding a complete session from intake to closing
After completing Level Two, graduates are prepared to:
Offer reflexology as a standalone, full-session service
Incorporate both foot and hand reflexology
Hold confident, structured sessions that support the whole body
After this certification, students may refer to themselves as a Reflexology Practitioner (not a reflexologist).
Important: Certification & Ohio Reflexology Law
Reflexology is not licensed by the state of Ohio, and there is no state-issued reflexology certification. National certification is voluntary and requires additional hours beyond this training.
In Ohio, reflexology may fall under massage therapy law unless practiced under the state’s reflexology exemption. A massage therapy license is not required when reflexology is practiced correctly, meaning:
Work is limited to the feet, hands, and/or ears
Only reflex point pressure is used (no soft tissue or muscle manipulation)
Reflexology is not marketed as massage therapy
Client materials clearly state: “Reflexology is not massage therapy”
These guidelines are covered in training to support ethical, compliant practice.
