By trade she is a health and wealth coach, speaker, educator, Reiki Master, founder of Akasha Yoga™ and Embodied™ Reiki, and author of the best-selling books: Love, Reiki, Vibration and Cracked Open. She has been supporting her community for over two decades. Since then, she has worked with thousands of clients and students.

In addition to Cortney's vast experience within the world of wellness, she spent 25 years working in the corporate arena for a fortune 100 company. During that time, she specialized in employee engagement, communications and education, where she developed and delivered training + education to thousands of employees. ​

Cortney is the founder of an Education + Retreat Center in Kent, Ohio where with the help of other experts she hosts 250+ sold out experiences each year.

 

In 2024, Cortney was selected as one of the four finalists among 38,000 nationwide nominees for Nexstar's national Remarkable Women contest. The mission of this contest is to honor women who have had an influence on social progress and quality of life within their community. Cortney was selected as the runner up in Ohio and highlighted by Fox8 News.
