Yoga as a Threshold
An Embodied Immersion for Those Feeling the Call
There are moments in life when something begins to shift.
You may not be able to name it yet, but you can feel it — a quiet pull toward something deeper. A sense that the way you’ve been moving through the world is changing.
In yoga philosophy there is a practice called Pratyahara — the gentle turning of awareness inward. Instead of constantly responding to the noise of the outside world, we begin to listen more closely to what is happening within.
This workshop offers a space to experience that shift.
Rather than forcing the senses to shut down, the evening allows them to soften naturally, creating space for clarity, rest, and deeper awareness.
Over the course of two hours, you’ll move through a gradual progression:
Outer awareness → sensory awareness → softening the senses → internal awareness → deep rest.
The experience includes:
• Guided meditation
• Yin practice supported with Reiki and sound
• Deep rest and restorative stillness
• Yoga Nidra for nervous system reset
• Quiet reflection and optional sharing at the end
This is not a typical yoga workshop.
It’s an opportunity to slow down, turn inward, and notice what might be emerging beneath the surface of daily life.
A note:
This workshop is especially meaningful for those who feel drawn toward a deeper relationship with yoga — whether that means personal transformation, a more intentional practice, or exploring the path of Yoga Teacher Training.
Rather than explaining what Yoga Teacher Training is, this evening offers an opportunity to experience the depth of practice that lives at the heart of it.
Sometimes the clearest answers come not from information, but from experience.
Tea will be offered at the end to support a gentle transition back into the external world.
This is a small, intentionally held experience so that the space remains quiet, personal, and immersive.
