Hypnotherapy Level One: Foundations

Do I need any prerequisites to begin learning hypnotherapy?
No. Hypnotherapy Level One: Foundations is designed for beginners as well as wellness professionals, coaches, healers, yoga teachers, and helping professionals who want to understand the subconscious mind and begin using hypnotic techniques for personal growth.
What is the difference between Level One, Level Two, and Level Three?
Level One:
Foundations focuses on understanding how the mind works, subconscious programming, hypnotic language, and foundational hypnosis skills. It is ideal for personal transformation and those exploring the modality.
Level Two:
Practitioner Certification teaches you how to facilitate hypnotherapy sessions with others. You will learn inductions, deepeners, client applications, and gain hands-on practice.
Level Three:
Advanced Techniques expands your practitioner toolkit through advanced modalities such as somatic hypnosis, age regression, conversational hypnosis, dream analysis, parts therapy, and advanced NLP.
Each level builds upon the one before it.
Can I take Level Two without taking Level One?
No. Hypnotherapy Level One: Foundations is a prerequisite for Level Two.
We intentionally designed the pathway this way to ensure students have a strong understanding of the subconscious mind and hypnosis principles before working with others.
Do I need all three levels?
It depends on your goals.
If your goal is personal growth, Level One may be all you need.
If your goal is to begin working with others, you are required to complete both Level One and Level Two.
If your goal is mastery, advanced applications, and greater confidence as a practitioner, Level Three is highly recommended.
Can I work with clients after completing Level One?
No. Level One is designed for personal transformation, foundational education, and understanding the subconscious mind.
Students must complete both Level One and Level Two before working with clients as a Certified Hypnotherapy Practitioner through SHINE.
Can I work with clients after completing Level Two?
Yes. Level Two is our Practitioner Certification and is designed to provide the foundational skills needed to begin facilitating hypnotherapy sessions with others.
What title or designation can I use after each level?
At SHINE, we believe titles should accurately reflect training, experience, and integration.
