Private Animal Reiki Session

Service Description

Animal Reiki is a special adaptation to the traditional Reiki practice specifically for pets and other animals. It can offer pain and stress reduction techniques, with both a heart-centered and hands-on approach. Animal Reiki is also offered during times of transition. Reiki is a gentle and powerful way to support not only the animal, but the entire family, when an animal is dying (making their transition). Setting expectations for the session: The session will last approximately 45 minutes – however, it is important to note, unlike a traditional Reiki sessions with a person, an Animal Reiki session is guided completely by the animal. Therefore, ultimately the session time is determined by your beloved pet/animal. Reiki can bring not only physical healing for the animal – but sometimes, even more importantly, emotional and spiritual healing. It’s important to note that with any Reiki, we are to let go of any expectations – and its even more important for animals that are dying. It may be true that the Reiki will allow for a relief in symptoms and physical improvements may occur. However, it is also important to note that “healing doesn’t always mean cure.” Reiki provides each being with the healing that is most needed within the framework of that being’s current wishes and destiny. Reiki is always working for the highest good of the animal even if the results are not what we, as humans, had hoped for. Please note: This session occurs at your location.
