The Reiki Revolution (intro to Reiki)


Join us as we introduce you to Reiki and demystify why it “works”. Among other things, you will learn scientifically why it increases your personal frequency (your vibration). Bioenergetics: Understanding Your PERSONAL Vibration


We live in a vibrational world, and our human bodies are no different. Albert Einstein said, “Everything in life is vibration” What he meant when he said that is - every atom in every molecule oscillates and is in motion and can be measured. This is true for our human bodies. Together we will explore the information behind this profound research. After exploring the information, attendees are invited to have their personal frequency individually tested through our bioenergetic screening system and a sample report is given*.

How does it work:

While holding electrodes, a micro amp current is sent through the body’s meridian pathways and captured through data access points* on the hands. The amount of current that passes through the cellular structure of the organ, gland, or system reveals the functional and vibrational status of the tissues. Because the assessment is based on defined parameters of health, any deviation from this standard can be readily detected. This allows us to see a true picture of how your body is actually functioning on an energetic level. (ie your personal frequency)

Forest Bathing Practice


When one hears forest bathing, the first visual that might come to mind is one swimming in water. Although, a good forest bathing location includes water, it usually does not include swimming in water. The concept of “bathing” comes from the idea that the air in the forest is like an ocean where one completely immerses themselves. Although the term forest bathing is a relatively new term, coined in 1982 by Tomohide Akiyama, this practice – also known as Shinrin Yoku – is an ancient Japanese practice. One that has many health benefits when practiced regularly. Rest + Restore

Reiki + Restorative (experience Reiki)


Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique that facilitates the flow of ki (also known as prana or chi) for healing and wholeness. Reiki promotes well-being, reduces stress and aids in the releasing of resistance that often causes physical ailments. This healing energy is transmitted by softly laying hands on a person.

Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props to restore balance. The use of props makes it easier to relax your body at a deeper level. Reiki and Restorative go together perfectly.

This workshop will consist of three restorative yoga poses; while lying in the poses you will receive the full benefits of reiki as both an individual and as a whole during the entire workshop. Your personal frequency will raise during this session. And just like an individual reiki session with Cortney - your chakras will be tested in the first pose (using a pendulum), while you begin to relax. You will receive a one-page handout explaining your individual chakra results to take home.

Restorative Sound Bath


Many ancient cultures have been using sound to meditate, to heal, and to transform. Today, sound baths are found to help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, among other health and wellness benefits. Crystal singing bowls are made up of quartz crystal, which has an innate ability to amplify and transfer energy. By creating and transmitting powerful vibrations, crystal singing bowls can help restore resonance within the human body, allowing energy to flow more freely throughout the physical body. A sound bath can open the body, quiet the mind, and bring us back into balance. Join us in deeply restorative poses as you experience the powerful vibrations and soothing sounds of the crystal singing bowls.
